Oak Park Farmers Market
The Oak Park Farmers Market was formed in 2010 to fill a need in one of Sacramento’s food deserts.
A community survey conducted at the time revealed that residents couldn’t easily access fresh, healthy produce.Since its opening, the market has served an average of 1,500 visitors per week.
Get ready to mark your calendars because starting this April through November, every Saturday is going to be a fresh food paradise at the Oak Park Farmers Market! We’re bringing back all your favorite vendors and farmers from last year, and adding new vendors joining the party too! (Vendor Application Request HERE).
One third of sales at the market come from EBT (food stamps), while donations allow the market to match EBT sales dollar-for-dollar up to $20 per customer.
