California Food Literacy Center was built by volunteers. They are the key to our success. Join our team! Become a volunteer today. All our volunteer positions are unpaid.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Writing: We’re looking for experienced writers who can provide well-researched articles and seasonal topics about healthy eating.
- Recipe Development: We need folks skilled in creating healthy recipes that work and have been tested. We’re looking for experience developing recipes.
- Web Development: Our website is our most important public tool. We need experienced web developers who can enhance the user-friendly nature of our site.
- Accounting: We need an experienced bookkeeper who can help keep our books in order.
- Volunteer Coordination: We’ve got an army of volunteers supporting us. We need an organized person who can help us oversee this critical body of human resources.
- Classroom Curriculum: We’ll be working weekly with 100 kids over the first quarter of 2012. If you have experience working with kids and want to help us develop take-home assignments and hands-on learning activities, we’d love to hear from you.
- Administrative: Data entry, spreadsheets, and more! We need someone who loves to help keep others organized.
