“I started eating oatmeal instead of packaged cereal—cheaper and healthier!”

I have been eating nothing but oatmeal for breakfast for 2 years now. I never get tired of it because I add something different to it everyday! In the summer I like lime juice and bananas or peaches and crunchy granola on it. In the winter I use lots of cinnamon, cranberries or raisins, and the juice of 1/2 an orange on it. Really I hardly eat the same thing on it more than 2 weeks in a row. I add nuts, pumpkin, yogurt or any combination of all the things mentioned. I make a large batch of steelcut oatmeal on the weekend and dish it right out of the covered dish in the fridge each morning. By the time my tea brews, I have creative toppings on room-temperature oatmeal. Add the morning newspaper and I’m all set!
